BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – A Brunswick County man was sentenced Thursday to at least five years in prison.
Erskin Howard Moody was arrested in May of 2011 as a part of an undercover investigation by the Shallotte Police Department.
Thursday, a Brunswick County jury found Erskin Howard Moody guilty of trafficking, sale, and possession with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver hydrocodone (aka “Vicodin”), according to a press release from the Brunswick County District Attorney’s Office.
Moody will serve a prison term of 70-84 months in the North Carolina Department of Correction and pay a $50,000 fine.
