Jury selection set to begin for 2008 murder | Crime
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Jury selection is set to begin in the murder of James Murdock, with the trial scheduled to start Monday.
Matthew Lee Barber faces murder charges for the crime, and Norman Simmons is also charged.
The Brunswick County Sheriff's Office says the two shot and killed Murdock in 2008.
Detectives say 20 to 30 shots were fired at the car Murdock was sitting in on Pineclair Drive.
