Get ready for the 9th annual Bridge Run for Food
OCEAN ISLE BEACH, NC (WECT) – Get your running shoes ready, Ocean Isle Beach is having a race Saturday to kick off 2013.
The 9th Annual Bridge Run for Food will start at 9:00 a.m. All proceeds will benefit the local food pantry.
Participants can register online at www.active.com or Friday and night and Saturday morning at Ocean Isle Beach Town Hall. The cost is $30 for 5k and $45 for half marathon.
According to a press release, the course takes runners and walkers over the scenic bridge to the mainland and back to the island.
