Free 5K to fight obesity | Community Spirit

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Brunswick County is hosting a free 5K Saturday to raise awareness of obesity and offer solutions.

Since we can fight against the obesity epidemic for free, the county decided to make the race free.

Everyone is invited to walk, jog, bike or run in the race Saturday morning.  The 5K starts at 9:00 a.m. in Holden Beach under the bridge.

T-shirts will be available from $5-$10 for the race.
