Seminar to teach businesses how to ‘go green’ | Business

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Going green isn’t just a concept that’s becoming popular in homes; it’s taking over the business world, too.

If you’ve ever wondered how your business can become more sustainable and environmentally-friendly, you can attend an upcoming seminar scheduled for Wednesday, Jan 16.

According to the Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce’s website, those who attend the seminar will learn about renewable energy, solar installation, sustainable business green building and more.

The seminar will be hosted by a Brunswick Community College speaker.

The 8 a.m. event will take place at Planet Fun/Starz Grille and will include breakfast.

The cost is $5 for chamber members and $10 for future chamber members.
