Calabash Internal Medicine has new designation | Business

CALABASH, NC (WECT) – Calabash Internal Medicine has been designated as a Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home.

According to a press release, the designation signifies the practice has met a set of NCQU national standards established to improve health through the coordinated management of patient care.

“I am very proud of the team here at Calabash Internal Medicine.  Our staff has worked hard to earn certification for our practice,” said Dr. James Moreci.  “It is certainly rewarding to receive recognition as a Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home.  It is very much in keeping with my philosophy of caring for the ‘whole’ patient while trying to promote wellness and patient involvement with their health care.  Our ‘team’ is all inclusive.”
