The Fuzzy Peach expands into Shallotte | Business
SHALLOTTE, NC (WECT) - The newest local franchise for The Fuzzy Peach will be located in Shallotte.
The self-serve yogurt company, which started in Wilmington from some UNC Wilmington graduates, is also expanding into Charlotte, Jacksonville and South Carolina.
According to a news release from the company, they are focusing development in Raleigh, Fayetteville, Charlotte, Winston Salem and Greensboro. They are looking to expand to South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
The Fuzzy Peach started in Wilmington in 2010 with one store on Racine Drive. It has expanded to several parts of the local community since that point.
